THE PROJECT

The project aims at training, re-qualifying and valorising the youngest segment of the population (18-34 years old) thanks to information, training and orientation to entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial mindset.
The aim is to ensure that young people coming out of the project have all the necessary skills to turn their business idea into a start-up or, in the same way, to enter the world of work in a more professional way.
The project is divided into two waves, one for each half of the year, each of which is structured in 4 phases: information orientation, training orientation, guidance counselling, tutoring, guidance in the accompanying processes.
The project will last several months, during which many initiatives are planned to stimulate networking and foster the development of relations with the entrepreneurial fabric in the Marche region and at national level.

TARGET

The initiative is addressed to all young people aged between 18 and 34, unemployed and resident in the Marche Region, with a diploma or degree, who want to acquire all the necessary skills to deal with the topic of Digital Transition, with the aim of upgrading their professional profile, transforming their business idea into a start-up and starting a business.

1. FIRST PHASE

INFORMATIVE ORIENTATION

The informative orientation activities aim to present the training offer, to deepen the specific topic of Digital Transition and to collect qualified applications for the following phases. This will be possible both through online and in-person participation.
The young people to be included in the training course will be selected on the basis of their CVs, ensuring a balance between different skills and backgrounds.

  • Testimony from startups for innovative with interviews and space for Q&A sessions with the audience (in particular, success stories of open innovation activities of the University of Urbino and start-ups incubated by BP Cube).

  • Market opportunities for new entrepreneurial activities

TALENT

Selection of about 100 participants
who will take part in the second phase of the project. The young people will be selected on the basis of their CVs and a short questionnaire, the trainers will assess the candidates’ skills, motivation and aptitude so that the project activities will be offered to the most deserving ones.

2. SECOND PHASE

TRAINING ORIENTATION

The training orientation is divided into two types of training, one academic and knowledge acquisition, and one more practical and experiential, supported by content made available on an e-learning platform.

FOCUS

  • Formal Training, and Knowledge Acquisition:
    Contamination Lab (CLab) organised by the University of Urbino and Training courses on the topics in focus, organised by w.academy.
  • Outdoor: Team-building events for the development of entrepreneurial soft-skills through outdoor activities.

who will take part in the third phase of the project.

3. THIRD PHASE

GUIDANCE COUNSELLING

This phase focuses on the business ideas generated during the Formative Orientation phase, in order to identify and analyse the criticalities of each project, building the basis for the definition of models for the evaluation of business ideas.

FOCUS

  • Staff resources needed to carry out the projects in terms
    of know-how and skills;
  • Analysis of the national and international market and the degree of attractiveness of the services/products proposed;
  • Analysis of management issues, in particular logistics and distribution;
  • Policies for managing potential customers;

TOOLS

  • Brainstorming activities
  • SWOT Analysis
  • Business Model Canvas

TALENT

Selection of about 20 participants

from groups or individuals who will take part in the fourth phase.

4. FOURTH PHASE

TUTORING, GUIDANCE IN ACCOMPANYING PROCESSES

On the basis of the results of the previous orientation phases, tutoring and mentorship plans will be activated to transform the best business ideas into real Business Plans.

TOOLS

  • Business Plan whose aim will be to establish the actual feasibility of the different business ideas
  • Scholarships to visit European co-working spaces for 5 days

TALENT

Selection of about 10 participants

in the Pitch Contest

PITCH CONTEST

The contest will see all groups of young people competing to prepare a proper Business Plan.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their Business Idea to an audience of experts and players in the digital sector and investors through a pitch.
Each team (or individual) will have 10 minutes to present the key elements of their idea.
The jury will select the best 5 pitches, which will be crowned the winners and be eligible for the prizes.
The winners will be accompanied by BP Cube incubator consultants in an incubation and acceleration process.

The project was entirely financed by the Marche Region.
